Registration of algorithmic trading and direct electronic access

According to MiFID II, securities dealers must inform the competent authority if they use algorithmic trading or if they offer direct electronic access (DEA) to a trading venue.

In Denmark, this means that a securities dealer who is a member of a Danish trading venue must provide the FSA with the above information.

In the same way, foreign members of a Danish trading venue must inform the FSA if they use algorithmic trading or if they offer DEA.

Please read more about the requirements and measures in relation to securities dealers using algorithmic trading or offering DEA under MiFID II.

Registration of the use of algorithmic trading or the offer of direct electronic access must be forwarded to Finanstilsynet at seko4@ftnet.dk.
