e-Reg user administration

In the Danish FSA’s reporting system for EU-related reporting, e-Reg, companies can manage the reporting rights of their reporting users themselves. On this page, you can read more about the rights and responsibilities associated with the role of e-Reg user administrator, as well as how to be granted the right to act as your company’s e-Reg user administrator.

What is an e-Reg user administrator?

At the beginning of 2026, the Danish FSA launched e-Reg, our new reporting system for all EU-related reports; that is, reports submitted to the Danish FSA and subsequently forwarded to the European supervisory authorities, EBA, EIOPA, and ESMA.

Initially, user administration in e-Reg has been managed solely by the Danish FSA, which has meant that companies have had to contact us to have reporting rights assigned (and revoked) for each reporting user.

To streamline this process and provide you, as companies, with greater oversight, we are launching functionality for external user administration in e-Reg in the second half of 2026.

This means that you will:

  • be able to maintain an overview of which reporting users have which reporting rights, and
  • make ongoing adjustments to these users’ rights yourselves

Which rights and responsibilities are associated with the role of e-Reg user administrator?

The individuals you designate as your company’s e-Reg user administrators will assume the responsibilities described below.

As the company’s e-Reg user administrator, one will have the right to assign and remove reporting rights (across all of the company’s reporting obligations) for the company’s reporting users in e-Reg. In practice, this means that the user administrator will have the authority to decide exactly which individuals in the company are permitted to submit, for example, DORA, SOLVENCY, COREP reports, etc., for the company in e-Reg.

The responsibility of the e-Reg user administrator will always cover all of the company’s reporting obligations. The e-Reg user administrator will only have the ability to assign and revoke reporting rights for reporting users; it will not be possible to create or delete the user accounts of reporting users. This is because reporting users create their own user accounts in the Danish FSA’s self-service portal, and these user accounts are never deleted. If a reporting user should no longer report on behalf of a company, the user’s reporting rights are therefore revoked by the e-Reg user administrator, without the user account itself being deleted.

The e-Reg user administrator will be responsible for ensuring that:

  • the correct users are granted reporting rights in e-Reg,
  • the correct reporting rights are assigned to each individual user, and
  • reporting rights are revoked correctly and in a timely manner when necessary.

The e-Reg user administrator will be able to assign reporting rights to individuals outside their own organization, including employees at data centers.

An e-Reg user administrator will not have the right to assign or revoke user administration rights to or from other e-Reg user administrators within the company. Only the Danish FSA can assign or revoke user administration rights to or from e-Reg user administrators. If a user is to be granted the right to act as an e-Reg user administrator on behalf of a company, or if a user is to have this right removed, you must contact the Danish FSA.

Apply for rights to user administration in e-Reg

The individuals designated as the company’s e-Reg user administrators must complete the application form for the assignment of rights to user administration in e-Reg.

The user administration application form can be downloaded here.

The completed form must be signed by an authorized signatory of the company for which the e-Reg user administrator is to manage users. The form should then be sent to the Danish FSA’s e-Reg team at e-Reg@ftnet.dk.

If changes regarding e-Reg user administrators are required at a later time, including the assignment of rights to user administration in e-Reg to other users or the revocation of such rights from users, the same form should be used.

Before completing the form, it is important that the users who are to be granted the right to user administration in e-Reg have created a user account in the Danish FSA’s self-service portal. Data from the user’s account (including the user ID) must be used when filling out the application form.

If these individuals do not yet have a user account in the Danish FSA’s self-service portal, they can follow the instructions on our website below (step 1), which explains how to create such a user account.
