Important knowledge about e-Reg

On this page, you will find answers to common questions about e-Reg. Here, you can find information about when e-Reg will open, both the training environment and the production environment, and how to gain access. You will also find information about the different phases for migrating reports from FIONA to e-Reg. Please note that the information on this page may change at short notice. We therefore recommend that you stay updated by regularly checking this page for updates

When will the e-Reg training environment open?

The training environment (pre-prod) will be opened on the 3rd of March 2026.

The training environment is for test submissions. Here, you can practice and try out your submissions before submitting your final report via the production environment.

Nothing submitted in the training environment will be used for supervisory purposes.

The training environment will remain open, so you can return at any time and practice your submission again.

In the initial period, only EBA submissions will be available for practice in the training environment. Access to EIOPA and ESMA submissions will be granted in the training environment as we get closer to phase 3 and phase 4. See the phase plan below for more information.

When will the e-Reg production environment open?

The production environment will be opened for the first types of reports on 10 March 2026. See the phase plan below for more information about which reports will be opened and when.

Please remember that test submissions may only be made in the training environment.

How do I get access to e-Reg?

Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to migrate existing reporting users in FIONA to e-Reg. Those who have previously submitted reports via FIONA and wish to continue reporting in e-Reg must therefore create a user account in the Danish FSA’s self-service portal and then request access rights to e-Reg (read more here).

Since the migration of reports from FIONA to e-Reg will take place in phases (see the phase plan below), the timing for when it becomes relevant for each user to create their e-Reg user account will vary. We will send an information letter directly to affected users as we approach the respective phases in which action is required. The information letter will contain further details on what steps to take, the timeline, and how to create a user account and apply for access rights to e-Reg.
