(1) User registration for e-Reg
Do you not yet have a user account in the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority’s self-service portal? Below you will find guidance on how to obtain a user account.
User accounts can be created with two different login methods:
- either MitID for businesses, aka. "MitID Erhverv" (not private MitID)
- or MFA (multi-factor authentication)
We strongly recommend choosing MitID for businesses as the login method, as it is the quickest to set up. User accounts can be created within one day with MitID for businesses as login method. Creating user accounts with MFA as login method involves a significantly more complicated process and takes longer time.

(2) Assignment of permissions for e-Reg
Once you have obtained a user account in the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority's self-service portal (step 1 above), you must apply for reporting permissions for e-Reg so that you are able to submit the relevant report(s) on behalf of the relevant company or companies.
If you already have a user account in the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority's self-service portal, and you only wish to apply for extra permissions to submit additional types of reports, you still need to follow the steps described below.
Contact the company's e-Reg user administrator (primary procedure)
You apply for reporting permissions for e-Reg by contacting the e-Reg user administrator of the company you wish to report on behalf of. This is an employee within the company in question who has been granted administrator rights by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority to assign/remove reporting permissions among users.
The company’s e-Reg user administrator will be able to find your user in the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority’s self-service portal and assign the relevant e-Reg reporting permissions to your user, so you can start submitting reports.
(All of the below is not relevant if the company you will be reporting on behalf of has an internal e-Reg user administrator.)
Does the company not have an e-Reg user administrator? (alternative procedure)
If the company you will be reporting on behalf of does not have an internal e-Reg user administrator, you as a user must apply for reporting permissions in e-Reg by completing an application form and sending it to the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority.
The application form for reporting permissions in e-Reg is in MS Word format. Once you have downloaded and completed the form, and once it has been signed by an authorised signatory of the company, please send the form to e-Reg@ftnet.dk. We will then assign the permissions to your user and contact you when this has been completed.
