The Danish FSA launches FT Lab

Today, Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (the Danish FSA) will open for applications to the FT Lab, which is a regulatory sandbox for fintech initiatives. The idea is to make it possible for financial entrepreneurs to test their product or service on real customers.

For the first time it will be possible for companies in the financial sector to new technologies and business models in cooperation with the Danish FSA. As this is a new initiative, admission into the FT Lab will be limited to a maximum of five companies. Based on experiences with the first cohort, the FSA will at a later date open for new applications.

The application period expires 23 March 2018, and the FSA invites all interested parties to a briefing session Wednesday 28 February 2018, 14.30-16.30. Registration for this conference is by mail to fintech@ftnet.dk.
