Reports from the Danish Securities Council 1997

In its second year of existence, too, the Danish Securities Council concentrated on laying down the fundamental framework of the Danish securities market but was also involved in various specific matters as described in this report.

In 1997, the Danish Securities Council continued its discussions of transparency on the securities market and the thorough analysis of the fundamental principles on the securities market. On this basis, it is intended to commence work on completely new issues of the executive orders issued by the Council in 1996. Thus, the Danish Securities Council will continue to work for an adequate and smooth development on the securities market, particularly in the light of the contours of the Nordic stock exchange cooperation etc.
