Finanstilsynet har fået underretning om en virksomhed, der kalder sig Radius Assurance Limited på adressen Købmagergade 2, 6., København K. Virksomheden er ikke et forsikringsselskab, som er under tilsyn af Finanstilsynet.

På hjemmesiden www.radius-ltd.com fremgik det, at Radius Assurance Limited, England har et repræsentationskontor i Danmark på ovennævnte adresse.

Den ansvarlige for virksomheden, Niels Brundbjerg, har oplyst, at virksomheden er en filial af Radius Guarantees Limited.

Ingen af disse selskaber har tilladelse fra hverken Finanstilsynet eller den engelske tilsynsmyndighed Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) til at drive finansiel virksomhed, så eventuelle forsikringspolicer udstedt af selskaberne er ulovlige.

Alle, der har haft kontakt til Radius Assurance Limited eller Radius Guarantees Limited kan rette telefonisk henvendelse på nedennævnte telefonnummer, hvor tilsynet vil søge at hjælpe med at besvare forespørgsler.

CONSUMER WARNING

The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (DFSA) has been informed that a company called Radius Assurance Limited at the address Købmagergade 2, 6, Copenhagen K. acts as an insurer and insurance broker.

Until recently a website www.radius-ltd.com stated that a company called Radius Assurance Limited, UK had a representative office at the mentioned address.

The responsible person Niels Brundbjerg has informed the DFSA that the company is an affiliate of Radius Guarantees Limited.

None of these companies are authorised by the DFSA to carry on any activities that are regulated by the Danish Financial Business Act.

The Financial Services Authority in UK has informed the DFSA that the companies are not authorised to carry on insurance business in UK.

If you hold a policy with Radius Assurance Limited then you do not have insurance cover and you are advised to arrange valid insurance.
